I have been looking for a winter hat that covered my ears without obstructing my vision. I have found that others hats come down to my eyes when I try to cover my whole ear. This had does that my ears are completely covered and I don't have to cover my eyes to do it. I love this hat, I use to wear a hat and earmuffs together, now I can just wear a hat and cover my ears. Going to buy another so I have a spare. It will be so used.Too tightWhile I haven't worn this hat for long periods (it's summer as I write this), the ear flaps easily cover my ears. A real plus is that the beanie is not bulky so although it covers my entire head I don't feel like I have some bulky blob sitting on my head. I'm sure to get a lot of wear of this beanie this winter.I love this hat for walking my dogs in colder weather. It keeps my head covered and ears warm, without bulky ear muffs. My other knit hats either don't reach my ears, or roll down the rest of my head too far. This fits perfectly. It will get a lot of use in the upcoming winters.
